1. Who we are
RacingStatto is a statistics and data analysis platform. We do not accept bets, hold funds on behalf of customers, or provide betting tips. All statistics are provided for research and information only and are not a recommendation to wager.
Even so, many of our users follow horse racing and may place bets elsewhere. This page is here to help you stay in control.
2. Staying in control
Gambling should be fun, never a way to make money. Before you place a bet, consider:
- set a time limit and a money limit you are comfortable losing, and stick to them;
- never chase losses — doubling down rarely ends well;
- don’t gamble with money you need for essentials or borrow money to gamble;
- take regular breaks, especially during long meetings; and
- don’t gamble when upset, angry, tired, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3. Warning signs
Gambling has become a problem when it stops being enjoyable. Warning signs include:
- spending more money or time on it than you planned;
- chasing losses or trying to “win back” what you have lost;
- gambling with money you need for bills, food, rent, or family;
- hiding how much you gamble from people close to you;
- feeling irritable, anxious, or low when you are not gambling; and
- finding that gambling is affecting work, study, or relationships.
If any of these sound familiar, please reach out to one of the support organisations below. Help is free, confidential, and available right now.
